Sally Hansen Salon Nail Lacquer - Arabian Night

Sally Hansen Arabian Night is in the old square type bottle, and had been sat in my untried pile for a while, but since I fancied a bit of purple, then here we have this one.  It is a medium blue based dusty purple with gold shimmer.  The colour looks slightly brighter in the bottle than it does on the nail, but it otherwise translates well from the bottle colour.  The application was as smooth as silk and was easy to work with, and the dry time was good.  Its coming up to Autumn here, and outside the wind is howling and it is raining, and this polish matches the bruised looking sky and is a great colour for fall.  I managed to grab a quick pic in the 0.003 seconds we actually saw any sun here and I could get some decent light, but it shows the colour quite well, and also the gold shimmer.  The dominant colour is the dusty purple but the gold is definite, and not a lovely bottle shimmer that disappears on the nail.  Overall, I like this polish....but having said that, at the time of posting I have already moved on and put other stuff over the top of it!  I will post pics later, but for now I hope you like my choice for a rainy day.

I freely admit that THIS dork saw the title of your post and started singing the intro from Aladdin with the tiny man on a camel going into Akribah. Yes...I am a dork.
